Nuri Şahin (born January 1, 1980 in Tokat ) is a Turkish volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career

Şahin started his career in the hall. He played as a libero with the Istanbul clubs Eczacıbaşı, Arçelik, Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe before joining Arkas Sport Izmir in 2007 . In 2012 he switched to Halkbank Ankara , with whom he won the European CEV Cup in 2013 and Turkish Cup winner and runner-up in 2015. Şahin was also used in the Turkish national team.

Şahin made his first appearance as a beach volleyball player with Murat Giginoğlu at the satellite tournament in Lausanne in 2011 . The duo reached a fifth place in Constanța . In August, the two Turks did not get past the preliminary round at the European Championships in Kristiansand .
