FIVB World Tour 2015 men
The men's FIVB World Tour 2015 consisted of five Grand Slams and five Open . In addition, there was the World Cup in the Netherlands as well as three tournaments in the newly created Major Series and the season finale in Fort Lauderdale. The subsequent Open in Mexico, Turkey and Qatar belonged to the 2015/16 season.

The first victory of the 2015 world tour was achieved by a newly formed German couple. Markus Böckermann and Lars Flüggen survived the pool round unbeaten, then defeated the Poles Kosiak / Rudol and eliminated Sebastian Fuchs and Thomas Kaczmarek in the round of 16 , who had also won three times in the preliminary round and survived the main round two. In the semifinals, the winners of the German-German comparison defeated France Krou / Rowlandson. Böckermann / Flüggen won the final against the reigning world champions Brouwer / Meeuwsen , who had previously defeated Rogers / Slick . The Americans also lost the bronze medal game.
The third German duo Poniewaz / Poniewaz was eliminated from the competition without a win. The same thing happened to the Austrians Winter / Petutschnig , while their compatriots Kunert / Dressler did not make it into the main field. The best Swiss team were Kovatsch / Kissling in ninth place, while the Swiss Chevallier / Krattiger failed in the qualification.

Neither Armin Dollinger / Lars Lückemeier, Max Betzien / Niklas Rudolf nor the Austrian couples Kunert / Dressler, Eglseer / Müllner and Hupfer / Hörl survived the qualification. And the Swiss Chevallier / Krattiger did not make it into the main field , as they did in the People's Republic of China .
In the pool round Kovatsch / Kissling remained without a win, while Gabathuler / Gerson and Beeler / Strasser like the Germans Jonathan Erdmann / Marcus Popp and Sebastian Fuchs / Thomas Kaczmarek made it to the first final round. The latter had to say goodbye to the tournament, while Erdmann and Popp ended up in the round of 16.
Gabathuler / Gerson also finished ninth, while the other remaining duo from the host country fought their way to the semi-finals. There it lost to the eventual winners Ranghieri / Caminati and then the game for the bronze medal against the Turkish beach couple Giginoğlu / Göğtepe V. , who had missed the final through the defeat against Brouwer / Meeuwsen.

The German duos Fuchs / Kaczmarek and Böckermann / Flüggen were eliminated in the qualification, as were the Austrians Hupfer / Hörl, Kunert / Dressler, Murauer / Schnetzer and the Swiss Kovatsch / J. Kissling. Their compatriots Gabathuler / Gerson lost their first game after surviving the group stage.
Walkenhorst / Windscheif via the detour final round one and Erdmann / Matysik directly qualified for the round of 16, which both German teams finished victorious. In the following round they met, the winners were Jonathan Erdmann and Kay Matysik.
After losing the semi-final against Herrera / Gavira , who then also won the final, the German athletes fought for the bronze medal against Alison / Bruno , who had previously been inferior to their compatriots Evandro / Pedro .
