Saymon Barbosa Santos (born September 8, 1993 in Mato Grosso ) is a Brazilian beach volleyball player .

Career

Saymon Santos played alongside Fábio Bastos as a junior . With Márcio Araújo he made his first appearances on the FIVB World Tour in 2015 . From August 2015 Saymon Santos played with Guto Carvalhaes . In May 2016, the two Basilians won their first tournament on the World Tour in Cincinnati and a month later they were third again on the podium at the Grand Slam in Olsztyn . After a fifth place in Poreč and a ninth place in Gstaad, they lost to the Latvians Samoilovs / Šmēdiņš at the final of the major tournament in Klagenfurt . In September 2016 Santos formed a new duo with Álvaro Morais Filho . On the 2017 World Tour , they won the five-star tournament in Fort Lauderdale at the beginning of the year . They then finished fifth in Rio de Janeiro and ninth each in Moscow and The Hague . In Gstaad they reached third place.
