Gustavo Albrecht "Guto" Carvalhaes (born August 20, 1993 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a Brazilian beach volleyball player .

Career

Guto Carvalhaes reached fifth place with his brother Marcus at the U21 World Cup in Halifax, Canada in 2012 . In 2013 he won the U21 World Cup in Umag alongside Allison Cittadin Francioni . In 2014 Saymon / Allison finished third at the U23 World Championship in Mysłowice and had their first appearances on the FIVB World Tour . Guto Carvalhaes has played with Saymon Santos since August 2015 . In May 2016, the two Brazilians won their first tournament on the World Tour in Cincinnati and were again on the podium at the Grand Slam in Olsztyn and the Major in Klagenfurt that same year .

In 2017 Guto played with Pedro Solberg , with whom he won the 5-star tournament in Poreč . The Brazilians finished ninth at the World Cup in Vienna . In 2018, first Vitor Felipe and later the old master Ricardo Santos were his partners.
