The men's FIVB World Tour 1992/93 consisted of four events. The beach volleyball tournament series was hosted by Japan , Spain , Italy and Brazil .

Tournaments

Enoshima (July 28-30, 1992)

On three tournament days of the Japan Open, 16 teams from nine nations played for a total of 100,000 US dollars, of which the winners Paulão Moreira and Paulo Emilio Silva from Brazil each received 15,000 US dollars. The Americans Mark Eller and Todd Schaefer won the silver medal in Asia, the bronze medal went to the French Jean-Philippe Jodard and Christian Penigaud. The Australians Andy Burdin and Julien Prosser finished fourth, followed by the Italians Andrea Ghiurghi and Dio Lequaglie. No team from the host's country was able to place in the front field, the eight duos from Japan took tied ninth and tied thirteenth place.

Almería (August 12-15, 1992)

At the Spain Open, the prize money has been doubled compared to the tournaments with the highest value to date. Out of $ 200,000, the winners Sinjin Smith and Randy Stoklos received $ 70,000 alone. The Americans relegated the two Brazilian duos Eduardo Garrido / Roberto Moreira and Andrè Perlin Lima / Guilherme Marques to places two and three. Lignano (August 18-23 , 1992)

With 34 beach pairs, the record number of participants from 1991 at the Italian Open 1992 was exceeded again. Last year's winners Sinjin Smith and Randy Stoklos were not at the start. The Brazilians Paulão Moreira and Paulo Emilio Silva won their second FIVB tournament this season. Their compatriots Eduardo Garrido and Roberto Moreira won the silver medal as in Almería, while the Americans Scott Friederichsen and Tim Walmer took third place. In fourth place again a Brazilian duo with José Loiola and Aloizio Claudino, who contested their only joint tournament on the FIVB Tour in Lignano. The Austrians Hannes Kronthaler and Stefan Potyka in fifth place were the best Europeans this time ahead of the French Jean-Philippe Jodard and Christian Penigaud. The two German teams Andreas Boltze / Christian Voß and Thomas Brall / Jan Fell shared 17th place with the only Argentinian and the only Spanish duo.

Rio de Janeiro (February 9-14, 1993)

As in previous years, the tournament in Brazil marked the end of the World Series. 24 pairs of participants battled it out for victory at the Brazil Open and for $ 100,000 in prize money. The four-time Rio winners Sinjin Smith and Randy Stoklos were only third this time, the event at the Sugar Loaf was won by their US compatriots Adam Johnson and Kent Steffes in front of the best team from the host's country, Eduardo "Anjinho" Bacil and Jose Loiola. Their compatriots Roberto Lopes / Franco Neto and Ze Marco de Melo / Dennys Paredes finished fourth and fifth in front of the Australians Andy Burdin and Julien Prosser. After their fifth place in Lignano, the Austrians Hannes Kronthaler / Stefan Potyka took 17th place this time together with the Swiss Hanspeter Sacher / Christian Wandeler and an Argentine and a Spanish duo, while the Germans Lars-Björn shared 21st place Freier / Christian Tiemann again in the overall ranking.
