Christian Tiemann (born February 23, 1964 ) is a former German beach volleyball player .
Career
Christian Tiemann played beach volleyball at national and international tournaments in the 1990s . With Lars-Björn Freier , he won the first German championship title in Damp in 1992 .
His greatest successes include:
- Winner Beach Cup Munich (with Hubertus Platt)
- Winner Beach Cup Sylt 1991 (with Josef Nowotny)
- 17th place FIVB Brazil Open in Rio de Janeiro 1992 (with Jan Fell )
- Winner German championship in Damp 1992 (with Lars-Björn Freier )
- 21st place FIVB Brazil Open in Rio de Janeiro 1993 (with Lars-Björn Freier )
- 7th place CEV EM in Espinho, Portugal 1993 (with Norbert Schupritt )
- Winner Masters Kühlungsborn 1995 (with Uwe Körner )
In the hall he played from 1982 to 1991 mainly for Orplid Darmstadt and TuS Kriftel in the second division . Tiemann had his active time in beach volleyball from 1989 to 1996.
