Tobias Winter (born October 16, 1993 in Aschbach-Markt ) is an Austrian beach volleyball player .

Career

In 2010, Winter finished fifth in the U18 European Championship in Porto with Lorenz Koraimann . In 2011 he formed a duo with Lorenz Petutschnig . At the youth world championship in Umag , Winter / Petutschnig took fifth place. They finished the U20 European Championship in Tel Aviv-Jaffa in seventh place. A year later they won the same competition in Hartberg . In 2013 they were third in the U23 World Cup in Mysłowice . They finished ninth at the U21 World Cup in Umag. Winter then won the national tournament in Fürstenfeld with Christoph Dressler and played with him his first open tournament on the World Tour in Anapa . With Petutschnig, Winter finished fifth in the 2013 U22 European Championship in Varna .

In 2014 Winter / Petutschnig finished 17th in the Fuzhou Open and ninth in Puerto Vallarta . They also played their first Grand Slam in Shanghai . In Quartu Sant'Elena they took part in the European Championship .
