Stafford Slick (born January 4, 1985 in Andover , Minnesota ) is an American beach volleyball player .

Career

Stafford Slick has played on the AVP Tour and other US tournaments since 2009 . Internationally he has been active on the NORCECA Tour since 2010 and on the FIVB World Tour since 2013 . In 2015, Slick played alongside Olympic champion Todd Rogers , with whom he finished fourth at the Fuzhou Open . After Sean Rosenthal's partner Phil Dalhausser was injured, Slick and Rosenthal formed a team for three tournaments on the FIVB Tour. In 2016, Slick played alongside Mark Burik on the World Tour and with various partners on the AVP Tour. In 2017 Billy Allen was his partner with whom he won the AVP Open tournament in Seattle . With Casey Patterson , Slick finished third at the FIVB 3-star tournament in Tokyo in 2018 . Since 2019 Slick has again formed a duo with Billy Allen. The two US-Americans reached third place at the FIVB 3-star tournament in Sydney and qualified for the World Cup in Hamburg , where they finished ninth.
