Lukáš Klimek (born November 14, 1986 in Ostrava ) is a Czech ice hockey player who plays in the Tipsport Extraliga .

Career

With the sport of ice hockey Lukáš Klimek began in his hometown at the HC Vítkovice before 2003 in the junior section of HC Sareza Ostrava changed, where he played from 2002 to 2004 at the U18 and U20 juniors. From the beginning of 2005 to 2006 he stayed with this team as an adult. In 2004, the men's team with the championship title of the 2nd národní hokejová league made it to the 1st league , in which they played until 2009. In 2005/06 Klimek played for Indiana Ice, a team in the United States Hockey League (USHL) in Indianapolis , Indiana .

In 2006 Klimek moved to HC Vítkovice Steel , a team in the Extraliga , where he played until April 2013.

Since May 2013 the 187 cm tall attacking player with the shirt number 61 has been playing for HC Sparta Prague , which also plays in the Czech Republic's top division, the Extraliga.
