Armin Dollinger (born September 28, 1990 in Dachau ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player and former sports soldier in the Bundeswehr .

Career hall

Armin Dollinger started playing indoor volleyball in 2000. He played for VfR Garching , VCO Kempfenhausen , ASV Dachau and TV Rottenburg II , at times also in the second division .

Career Beach

In 2005 Armin Dollinger started playing beach volleyball. From 2009 to 2012 Malte Stiel was his standard partner, with whom he finished fourth at the U21 World Cup in Blackpool in 2009 , also fourth at the U23 European Championship in Kos and fifth at the U23 European Championship in Porto in 2011 . In addition, Dollinger / Stiel took part twice in the German championships in Timmendorfer Strand and finished seventh and thirteen. In 2013, Armin Dollinger played with Jonas Schröder from Mainz , with whom he finished fourth at the U23 European Championships in Assen in 2012 and became student world champion in Maceió . In 2013 Dollinger / Schröder won the silver medal at the Universiade in Kazan and took fifth place at the German championships . From 2014, Olympic champion Julius Brink should be his partner, but because of his injury-related career end, Armin Dollinger played alongside Clemens Wickler , with whom he finished fourth at the German championships in Timmendorfer Strand . At the German championships in 2015 in Timmendorfer Strand , Clemens Wickler and Armin Dollinger became German champions. With Yannick Harms , Dollinger took seventh place in Timmendorfer Strand a year later . In 2017, Jonathan Erdmann was his partner. Since 2018 he starts with Simon Kulzer . On the World Tour 2019 , Dollinger / Kulzer won the 1-star tournament in Visakhapatnam . With Eric Stadie , Dollinger finished fourth at the 3-star tournament in Jūrmala . After 2019 , Dollinger / Kulzer qualified again for the German championship via the Comdirect Beach Tour 2020 .

Private

Armin Dollinger is the son of physics professor Günther Dollinger , brother of Sebastian Dollinger and is also studying sports management at a university of applied sciences . Dollinger lives in Munich . He is married and has a daughter.
