Michał Bryl (born October 9, 1994 in Łask ) is a Polish beach volleyball player .

Career

Bryl and Bartlomiej Malec were third in the U18 European Championship in Vilnius in 2011 . In 2012 he played his first FIVB World Tour tournament with Maciej Rudol at the Mysłowice Open . With Kacper Kujawiak he won the U19 World Championship in Larnaka in a purely Polish final against Kaczmarek / Kaczmarek . Then he and Sebastian Kaczmarek reached the final of the U20 European Championship in Hartberg against the Austrians Petutschnig / Winter . With Kujawiak he again played the U21 World Cup in Halifax , but dropped out early. In 2013 Bryl / Kujawiak finished ninth in the U21 World Cup in Umag . At the U20 European Championship in Vilnius there was again the final against the Kaczmarek brothers, which the brothers won. At the U23 World Cup 2014 in Mysłowice, Bryl competed with Bartosz Łosiak and finished fifth. Then Bryl / Kujawiak in Larnaka with a final victory against the Russians Leschukow / Margijew became world champions of the U21. At the Grand Slam in Stare Jabłonki they finished 25th before they finished ninth at the U22 European Championship in Fethiye . The same result came at the end of the year at the Doha Open with Maciej Kosiak .

Bryl / Kujawiak started the World Tour 2015 with a fifth place at the Fuzhou Open. The major tournaments in Poreč and Stavanger Bryl played unsuccessfully with Jakub Szałankiewicz . At the 2015 European Championships in Klagenfurt, Bryl / Kujawiak were eliminated as the bottom group after the preliminary round. Then they came in 13th place at the CEV Masters in Biel / Bienne . In Macedo de Cavaleiros they won the U22 European Championship in the final against the French Di Giantommaso / Thiercy . At the beginning of 2016 Bryl and Szałankiewicz finished ninth at the Vitória Open. With Kujawiak they achieved fifth place in the open tournaments in Doha, Xiamen and Antalya and a third place in the CEV satellite tournament in Baden . With Łosiak he was fourth in the Klagenfurt Major before he finished his last international tournament with Kujawiak, the Grand Slam in Long Beach , in fifth place.

In 2017, Bryl formed a new duo with two-time Olympian Grzegorz Fijałek . At the five-star tournament in Fort Lauderdale , Bryl / Fijałek came in fifth. They achieved the same result in Moscow and Gstaad .
