Self-control of the magazines

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The self-control of the illustrated magazines (founded in 1957) was a working group consisting of publishers and editors-in-chief of German illustrated magazines (including Stern and Quick ), which was primarily intended to safeguard the protection of minors . An advisory board was attached to the working group, which consisted of representatives from the churches and from youth and family organizations. In view of the low level of acceptance and considerable criticism from press circles (accusation of self-censorship ), the working group was dissolved again in 1971.
