Skeabost ( Scottish Gaelic Sgeubost ) is a small, six-house village near Portree on the Scottish island of Skye . Since there is a riding stables in Skeabost and one of the houses is rented out as a holiday home, the village has a certain tourist significance. Skeabost is connected to the island's transport network via the A850 road from Portree to Dunvegan .
About six kilometers from the village is the Victorian-style hotel Skeabost Country House , which belongs to the equally small village of Skeabost Bridge .
