Seljuk
Seljuk (d. 1038) was a Turkish-Oghusian warlord and namesake of the Seljuks .
Seljuk was Khan of the Kınık Oghuz tribe . At the end of the 10th century, Seljuk and his people converted to Islam. He had four sons, Mîkâ'îl, Isrâ'îl (or Arslan), Mûsâ, and Yûnus.
After his death in 1038 he was buried in Jand .
