Selena (born August 9, 1965 in Nijmegen ) is a Dutch singer who released some dance singles and an album in the late 1980s .

Live and act

Growing up in the Nijmegen area, Selena got a record deal with EMI . In 1988 she released the singles Shotgun and So far away and in 1989 Timebomb . Her debut album Timebomb was released in the same year . Shotgun became a radio hit in Germany, but did not reach the sales charts. Videos were shot for all three singles. After a few flops in the following years, Selena ended her career in 1992.
