Semantic Web Services
Under Semantic Web Services (SWS) refers to Web services , which through its purely syntactic interface description are enriched addition with semantic content to their discovery ( Discovery to) Select (Selection), Run (Invocation) and its composition with other as well as various other aspects facilitate. Techniques from the field of semantic web are used. Only the merging of these technologies with those of the previous web services enable the realization of the vision of the Semantic Web. As Tim Berners-Lee pointed out in 1998, it differs from the previous World Wide Web through a further development in automation (web services) and in the enrichment of information with meaning (semantics).
