Semlower Strasse 31 (Stralsund)
The building with the postal address Semlower Straße 31 is a listed building on Semlower Straße in Stralsund .
The three-storey plastered building with double gable was erected in the first half of the 18th century; the core of the building is medieval .
The property was originally divided into a western, wide and an eastern, narrow plot. Due to this division, the house is also designed asymmetrically: It consists of a western, six-axis part with a multi-tiered volute gable and an eastern, two-axis part with a smaller gable.
The double-leaf door in the basket arch - portal dates back to the 19th century. A hall with original furnishings has been preserved on the first floor.
At the rear of the building there is a kemladen ; it and the two storage buildings on the rear property line are essentially medieval.
The house is located in the core area of the city area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 710.
