The building with the postal address Semlower Straße 42 is a listed building on Semlower Straße in Stralsund .

The three-storey and eight-axle , traufständige stucco building originates from the first half of the 18th century. It was badly damaged in a fire in 1956 and rebuilt in a simplified form in the following years.

The double-leaf front door with a diamond pattern in the upper part and curved mirrors in the lower part has been preserved in the original.

The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 714.
