The Brookmans Park Transmitting Station is a transmitter for medium wave broadcasting north of London in Hertfordshire . The transmitter was built in 1929 by the BBC as the first of a series of regional medium-wave transmitters to replace the small urban transmitters. The station was supposed to cover London and South East England .

Brookmans Park has a T antenna , which built two in 1929, 60.96 meters high, free-standing against earth insulated steel lattice towers is suspended. In 1939 a self-radiating antenna mast with a height of 152.4 meters, insulated from earth, was erected. A T-antenna is available as a reserve antenna, which is suspended from two 18.29 meter high guyed transmission masts that are isolated from the ground.

In addition, DAB signals are now broadcast from the location.
