Hamburg-Lokstedt transmitter

The transmitter Hamburg-Lokstedt was a radio transmitter for medium wave broadcasting in Lokstedt and was located directly on the former border with Hamburg .

The radio transmitter had a transmission power of 1.5 kW and used a T-antenna . This was stretched between two free-standing steel lattice towers 103 meters high, which weighed 26 tons and stood out due to their distinctive foot construction. In 1934 the radio station Hamburg-Lokstedt was replaced by the station Billwerder-Moorfleet .
