Sensorama (band)

Sensorama is the name of a music project by Jörn Elling Wuttke and Roman Flügel . Both also produce under other pseudonyms such as Alter Ego or Acid Jesus .

history

Wuttke and Flügel both come from Darmstadt and have been working together as a production team since the late 1980s. In 1993 they founded the three labels Ongaku , Klang Elektronik and Playhouse with DJ Ata and Heiko MSO . The Alter Ego project was also founded in 1993 . A year later the first publication appeared as Sensorama .

The debut album Welcome Insel was released in 1995, followed three years later by the second album Love . The third album Projektor followed in 2001.

Sensorama became known in particular for the music videos for their singles, for example for Star Escalator (1998, Best German Music Video, Internationale Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen ) and Realtime (1996, Music Machine Award, Best Video).
