Serge Roman

Serge Roman (* Arad , Romania) is a cameraman and director . He became known through advertising films, such as the Greek commercial for the VW Golf IV GTI, for which he received the “best submission from greece / cannes” award at the Cannes film festival in 2002.

Life

Serge Roman was born the son of a pediatrician. In the 1970s he attended the Film and Media University in Bucharest. In 1979 he emigrated to Germany, where he lived for many years. He later moved to Spain, where he lives with his Polish wife Magdalena Roman. Right from the start of his work as a cameraman, he worked closely with the German director Nico Beyer. His clients included Audi, Volkswagen, Chevrolet, Sky, Nissan, Toyota and mobile.de, among others. He also cooperates with CoolShots in Spain, MarkenFilm and Sentimental Film.
