Sergei Slavnov

Sergei Gennadjewitsch Slawnow ( Russian Сергей Геннадьевич Славнов ; born March 11, 1982 in Leningrad , Soviet Union ) is a Russian figure skater .

Sergei Slavnov started figure skating at the age of five. At the age of 16 he switched to pair skating . He and his partner Julija Obertas are vice European champions 2005 in figure skating for sports couples . Before he met Julija Obertas in 2003, he ran with Julija Karbowskaja .

Obertas / Slawnow start for the Jubilejni Sportklub and have been supervised by their former coach Lyudmila Velikowa since autumn 2006 . At times they had trained with Tamara Moskwina .

Due to an injury of Obertas' the couple could not qualify for the 2007 World Cup and pause in the 2007/08 season.
