Sergejus Jovaiša

Sergejus Jovaiša (born December 17, 1954 in Anykščiai ) is a Lithuanian politician and former basketball player.

Life

Jovaiša graduated from 1961 to 1972 the Antanas-Vienuolis -Mittelschule Anykščiai and 1977 the diploma studies of industrial engineering at Kauno politechnikos institutas . From 1979 to 1986 he studied at Lietuvos kūno kultūros institutas , where he taught and was a basketball coach.

From 1998 to 2004 he was a consultant to "Avia Baltika". From 2004 to 2005 he trained “Anykščių Puntukas-Jerimpeksas” and from 2005 to 2006 “Delikatesas” in Joniškis . From 2006 to 2007 he was a trainer at the Anykščiai sports center and from 2007 adviser to the mayor. From 2007 to 2011 member of the council of the Anykščiai district council , from 2012 member of the Seimas .

From 1972 to 1989 he played for Žalgiris Kaunas , from 1989 to 1991 for SSV Hagen , from 1991 to 1995 for BG Hagen and from 1995 to 1998 at ATS Cuxhaven (where he also acted as a trainer).
