Sergio Marinangeli (born July 2, 1980 in Gualdo Tadino ) is a former Italian cyclist .

Career

Sergio Marinangeli began his international career in 2003 with the Italian cycling team Domina Vacanze-Elitron . In 2004 he finished tenth in the Deutschland Tour , second in the Italian road championships and then started the Tour de France , which he gave up on stage 13. From 2005 to 2007 Marinangeli drove for the Italian Professional Continental Team Naturino-Sapore di Mare . In his first season he won the first stage of the Tour of Austria in a sprint against Eric Leblacher . In 2006 he finished third at the Giro del Veneto and later won the Beghelli GP . After two years with Team LPR without any particular results, he ended his career after the 2009 season.
