Sergio Missana
Sergio Missana (born 1966 ) is a Chilean writer.
Life
Sergio Missana has Italian ancestry. He studied communication sciences at the Universidad de Chile (BA) and completed a supplementary degree in journalism. In 1994/95 he published the Chilean music magazine Rock & Pop . He studied Spanish at Stanford University and received his doctorate there in 2003 with the dissertation La máquina de pensar de Borges . Between 2002 and 2006 he worked as a public relations manager for Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria . Missana teaches in Santiago de ChileLatin American Literature in Stanford University's Overseas Studies Program. He regularly writes feature sections on literature, film, music and art. Missana is the director for America at the NGO Climate Parliament , which is based in the UK.
Missana is married to Ramsay Turnbull and they have three children.
