Serpent Venom is an English doom metal band from London that was formed in 2008.

history

The band was formed in 2008 by drummer Paul Sutherland, singer Garry Ricketts and bassist Nick Davies. After the release of a first self-titled demo, the debut album Carnal Altar followed on The Church Within Records . After the release, guitarist Pete left the band and was replaced by Roland Scriver.

style

The band plays classic Doom Metal, which is comparable to the works of groups like Saint Vitus and Candlemass . Inhonorus from stormbringer.at compared Serpent Venom with genre greats like Saint Vitus, Candlemass, Solitude Aeturnus and Reverend Bizarre .
