Serreleis is a place and a former municipality ( Freguesia ) in the northern Portuguese district of Viana do Castelo in the Minho-Lima sub-region . The community had 1002 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Serreleis and Cardielos were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Cardielos e Serreleis .
