The União das Freguesias de Cardielos e Serreleis is a Portuguese municipality ( Freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) Viana do Castelo in northwestern Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of Cardielos and Serreleis . Cardielos became the seat of the new administration.
