The União das Freguesias de Nogueira, Meixedo e Vilar de Murteda is a Portuguese municipality ( Freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) Viana do Castelo in northwestern Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of Nogueira , Meixedo and Vilar de Murteda . Nogueira became the seat of the new administration.
