Seth Godin (2009)

Seth Godin (born July 10, 1960 in New York , New York, USA) is an American author and entrepreneur.

Live and act

Godin graduated from Tufts University in 1979 and the Stanford Graduate School of Business (MBA 1984).

After completing his studies, he first worked for the software company Spinnaker Software, where he was involved as a product manager together with the game developer Byron Preiss in the creation of the adventure computer games for Spinnaker's subsidiaries Telarium and Windham Classics . In 1986 Godin started a book packaging company. Further companies were founded in the areas of online marketing and online community , among others .

As an author, Godin has written nonfiction books on internet and marketing topics that have been translated into several languages. His book Free Prize Inside , 2004 was on the list of 10 Business Books of the Year by the business magazine Forbes Magazine .
