Setona Mizushiro

Setona Mizushiro ( Japanese 水城 せ と な , Mizushiro Setona ; born October 23, 1971 in Kanagawa Prefecture , Japan ) is a Japanese mangaka .

Mizushiro published her professional debut as a manga artist in 1993 in the Japanese manga magazine Petit Flower . In the following years she devoted herself mainly Shōnen-Ai - and Yaoi -Manga, had her breakthrough but only with Shōjo -Manga as 2001 Diamond Head and 2002 D-Day . The latter work deals with three students and a teacher who are so dissatisfied with their life at school that they jointly plan to blow up the school. The US edition of her After School Nightmare series, which began in 2004, was nominated for the Eisner Award in 2007. For Shitsuren Chocolatier , she won the Kōdansha Manga Prize in the Shōjo category in 2012 .
