Suh Seung-il

Suh Seung-il (* 18th July 1959 in Seoul ) is a former South Korean boxer in the super bantamweight .

Career

On October 8, 1978 he made his professional debut. On April 15, 1984 he became world champion of the IBF when he defeated Bobby Berna with a technical knockout in round 10. He defended this title twice; in January 1985 he lost him to Kim Ji-won by classic knockout. After another classic K. o. defeat in a direct rematch on October 9 of the same year, Suh ended his career.
