Severin Fritz Pütz

Severin Fritz Pütz (born January 24, 1909 in Würselen ; † November 16, 1988 there ) was a German trade unionist and politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school, Pütz first worked as a young miner and then worked as a miner for the mining association in Eschweiler . He joined the miners' association in 1926 , worked as a functionary at IG Bergbau from 1945 and became chairman of the works council in 1953. At the same time, he took over the deputy chairmanship of the general works council and a position on the company's supervisory board.

Political party

Pütz had been a member of the SPD since 1928.

MP

Pütz had been a councilor for the city of Würselen and a member of the Aachen district council since 1945 . He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1957 to 1961. He was drawn into parliament via the state list of North Rhine-Westphalia .
