Shō Sasaki ( Japanese 佐 々 木 翔 , Sasaki Shō ; born June 30, 1982 in Hokuto ) is a badminton player from Japan .
Career
Sasaki won Slovak International in 2003 , but then had to wait four years for his next title. In 2007, however, several tournament successes hit the books. He won both the Victorian International , the Mauritius International , the Bahrain International , the Romanian International , the Italian International and the Israel International . His only success so far at the national Japanese championships, where he won the men's individual discipline, dates from 2007.
In 2008 he took 3rd place at the India Open . At the 2009 World Cup he was eliminated by Peter Gade in round 2, but in the same year he was harmed with bronze at the Asian Badminton Championship . In 2011 he won the singles at the Australia Open 2011 .
