Shōhei Yokoyama ( Japanese 横山 翔 平 Yokoyama Shōhei ; born August 9, 1993 in Gunma Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
Yokoyama learned to play soccer on the school team at Maebashi Ikuei High School . He signed his first contract in 2012 with Thespa Kusatsu (today: Thespakusatsu Gunma). The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . For the club, he completed 68 league games. In 2016 he moved to league rivals FC Machida Zelvia . He then played for Međimurec DP , Deutschlandsberger SC and NK Varaždin .
