Shu Fujisawa
Shū Fujisawa ( Japanese 藤 沢 周 , Fujisawa Shū ; born January 10, 1959 in Niigata Prefecture ) is a Japanese writer.
Fujisawa studied Japanese literature at Hōsei University , where he also taught from 2004. Since 1996 he has worked as an editor for the Tosho Shimbun . In 1993 he made his debut as a writer with the novel Zōn wo hidari ni magare . After three nominations for the Akutagawa Prize (1995, 1996 and 1997) and four nominations for the Noma Literature Prize , he received the 1998 Akutagawa Prize for the novel Buenos Aires gozen reiji .
