Shūgo Nishikawa ( Japanese 西川 周 吾 Nishikawa Shūgo ; born May 27, 1977 in Ishikawa Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Nishikawa learned to play soccer on the school team at Shimizu Commercial High School and the university team at Tsukuba University . He signed his first contract with Mito HollyHock in 2000 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . For the club he completed 17 games. He then played for Kanazawa SC (2003) and Ferverosa Ishikawa Hakusan FC (2004-2007). At the end of 2007 he ended his career as a football player.
