Bundibugyo is a district in western Uganda . The capital of the district is Kibiito .

location

The Bunyangabu borders in the north on the district Kabarole , in the east on the district Kamwenge , in the south on the district Kasese and in the west on the district Bundibugyo .

history

The Bunyangabu district was created as a separate district in 2017. Until then he was a subcounty of the Kabarole district.

Demographics

The population is estimated at 195,100 for 2020. In the same year, 35.3 percent of them lived in urban regions and 64.7 percent in rural regions.
