Kibuku is a district in eastern Uganda . The capital of the district is Kibuku .

location

The Kibuku district is bordered to the north by the District Pallisa , on the east by the district Budaka , the south by the district Butaleja and the west by the district Namutumba .

history

The district was created in 2006 from parts of the Pallisa district.

Demographics

The population is estimated to be 250,600 in 2020. In the same year 4.2 percent of them lived in urban regions and 95.8 percent in rural regions.
