Zombo is a district in northwest Uganda. It is named after its most important communal, administrative and commercial center, the city of Zombo .

The district is bordered by the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west and south, the Arua district to the north and the Nebbi district to the east . Zombo, the main political, administrative and commercial center of the district, is about 70 kilometers (by road) south of the city of Arua , the largest city in the region. This place is located approximately 382 kilometers (by road) northwest of the capital Kampala . The district of Zombo is part of the administrative region of Northern Uganda, has 219,800 inhabitants (as of 2012) and an area of ​​244.9 square kilometers.
