Kisoro is a district in western Uganda . The capital of the district is Kisoro .

location

The district of Kisoro is located in the extreme southwest of Uganda and borders on the Kanungu district to the north, the Kabale district to the east, Rwanda to the south and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west .

Demographics

The population is estimated to be 315,400 in 2020. In the same year, 6.4 percent of them lived in urban regions and 93.6 percent in rural regions.
