Western Region (Uganda)

The Western Region is one of four regions in Uganda . It is located in the south-western part of the country and borders the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the west, Rwanda and Tanzania in the south, the Ugandan Kingdom of Buganda and the Central Region and Lake Victoria in the east, and the Northern Region in the north . The region is divided into several districts .
