Kaabong is a district in northeast Uganda with 540,000 inhabitants. The capital is the Kaabong of the same name .

The district is located in the Karamoja sub-region in the North Region . He was spun off on July 1, 2005 from the Kotido district . It consists of the only district Dodoth and is subdivided into one district Kaabong and eight sub-districts, Karenga, Kapedo, Lolelia, Kathile, Sidok, Kalapata, Kaabong and Loyoro.
