Abim is a district in northern Uganda . The capital of the district is Abim .

location

The Abim district is bordered by the Kotido district to the north and east, the Napak district to the southeast and south, the Otuke district to the southwest and the Agago district to the west .

history

The district was created in 2006 from parts of the Katido district.

Demographics

The population is estimated at 153,500 for 2020. In the same year, 15.9 percent of them lived in urban regions and 84.1 percent in rural regions.
