Shūichi Akai ( Japanese 赤 井 秀 一 Akai Shūichi ; born September 2, 1981 in Hokkaido ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Akai learned to play football on the University team at Sendai University . He signed his first contract with Ehime FC in 2004 . The club played in the third highest division in the country, the Japan Football League . In 2005 he was with the club master of the Japan Football League and rose to the J2 League . He then played at FC Imabari . At the end of 2015, he ended his career as a football player.
