Shadow DOM

Shadow DOM is a draft for a web standard of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), which was proposed by Google as part of the WHATWG . It is used to create reusable components that can be integrated into HTML5 -based websites.

Shadow DOM is used in particular in Google's polymer project .
