Schafa Badran or Schafabadran , Arabic شفا بدران, DMG Šafā Badrān (literally translated: Badran , a very famous prince from ancient Bedouin times, healed here ), is a small town north of Amman , the capital of Jordan .

Schafa Badran is located about 10 km from the center of the capital and is characterized by a relatively cool climate. According to the results of a census, there were 15,333 inhabitants in Schafa Badran in 2004; this number has probably risen to over 30,000 in 2009.
Schafa Badran has been growing as a very popular tourist destination since the beginning of the 21st century. Many investors are participating in the expansion of the infrastructure. The place is located directly on the newly built Jordan Street , which connects the north with the south of the country.
