The Amman Governorate ( Arabic محافظة العاصمة, DMG Muḥāfaẓat al-ʿĀṣima 'capital government') is one of the twelve governorates of Jordan. The seat of the governorate is Amman .
The governorate covers an area of 7,579 km² and has a population of 4,007,526 (2015).
Amman Governorate is divided into nine districts:
- Qasaba Amman
 - Marka
 - al-Quwaisima
 - al-Jamiʿa
 - Wadi as-sir
 - Sahab
 - al-Jiza
 - al-Muwaqqar
 - Naturally
 
Three of the districts are further subdivided into a total of seven sub-districts.
