Shaluli Shan ( Chinese 沙鲁 里 山 , Pinyin Shālǔlǐ Shān ) is a mountain range in the west of the southwest Chinese province of Sichuan .
It forms the watershed between Jinsha Jiang (Chang Jiang / Jangtsekiang) and Yalong Jiang (Nyag Chu). It belongs to the Hengduan Shan mountain range . Its average altitude is between 4,000 and 6,000 meters above sea level. The highest mountain, the genius Shan格 聂 山, has a height of 6,204 meters.
It is the habitat of many rare animals, including the white-lipped deer and takin .
